Is there a way to like posts?

I could see that as being mildly useful - then have a view on the Home Screen of most liked posts over the last 24 hours.

For me it’s not the topic, but the actual post within a topic…….

I’m sure it’s possible MF?

Well if you look at your profile in the side panel of your posts, you will see you have made 317 posts and have 39 +1's.
So it seems to be working, doesn't it?

How about wanting to remove a particular thread from your own "Participating" list?

I once made the mistake of commenting in the Wordle one, and I can't find any way to disable it showing up constantly.

I don't think this would be useful. There does appear to be a bias towards people rather than content in some cases.

There's already a list of most recent and most active topics. Let's keep Geekzone away from the social media echo chamber of selectively presenting only liked stuff, posting shouldn't be a popularity contest.

This 100%. But I'm more interested in reading replies to things that I'm interested in enough to comment on. I have close to zero interest in various other threads - so it makes sense to not have those bumped up.

I don't think likes should have any impact on how things are ranked for display, because as you said, this would turn into an echo-chamber-type situation,

Still, being able to 'undo' the participation in a thread would be wonderful...

I only ever use live.geekzone.co.nz but seem to be unable to remove a particular thread from the 'Participating' column. Therein lies the problem... 😶
