Hi,

Does anybody know what happened with FirstIn? 4 Feb I ordered a Lacor 9" Digital Photo Frame. Received an invoice about it and after that nothing. I sent tons of emails with no respond from them, phoned to their contact phone and left the messages. No call back, nothing. Yell Do you know what a physical address, may be?

Kind regards

Gave up on them long ago due to consistently bad service. Surprised they have survived as long as they have to be honest!

You have to do a bit of snooping, but you will find them eventually! ;) WHen ever I recieve a bad deal online the first thing I do is a whois.

Now this is the first time I have heard of FirstIn, but I assume you mean FirstIn.co.nz, in which case your first port of contact is via their details

Registrant Contact Name First In Limited
Registrant Contact Address1 Level 8
Registrant Contact Address2 187 Featherston Street
Registrant Contact City Wellington City
Registrant Contact Province Wellington
Registrant Contact Country NZ (NEW ZEALAND)
Registrant Contact Phone +6 4 499 8747
Registrant Contact Fax +6 4 915 7554
Registrant Contact Email adam@firstin.co.nz
Admin Contact Name Adam Brown

Failing that you could attempt to get in contact via there webhost.  This would require an email or letter to the company asking them to foward on your details or gain a response to your problem. The web details of the hosting company are avaliable via a WHOIS search of the domain (http://www.dnc.org.nz/whois.php) I wont post there details as they havent done anything wrong.

Of course, I'm so angry I completely forgot about it. I use it all the time but today was blank. Thanks very much for reminder.

Had same issue last year with video camera. With all the muckng around I gave up and applied for cashback from credit card company. Got video camera eventually then waited for them to ring me and then I paid for it.

I havent purchased since. I do look at their prices regularly but yet to see anything that I think is worthwhile buying. I know they do have some good sales but the sour taste I have still outweighs the savings. I like

1-day.co.nz, they have some good deals but you have to be quick.

Oh dear.. sounds like they might be on the run...

I stopped getting their email ages ago when I found that if you did a quick look on line you could always match or better the prices they were offering.

Actually I don't think so. I had a meeting last week and IT Rockstar is coming back (I was a judge replacing the Trade Me CEO last year when one of the finalists happened to work for Trade Me). I was invited to judget this year again.

Why I am telling this? Because Adam won last year's competition and we were talking about him. That's when I found out he's moved to Auckland and the rumours are that he's the next gadget guy in the TV One breakfast program.

I don't know how to comment this. What I know is: No contact, No money, No product. May be TV One breakfast program helps me if I contact them.

I don't dispute that. I am just saying in which circunstances his name showed up in a conversation I had this week - and the fact that he's moving to Auckland, which may be related to a previous post here about his office in Wellington closing down.
