Usually my Ali purchases just arrive one day in the letterbox so I dont really know if this is normal. I have a parcel of greater than normal value, less than $400, that arrived in last Thursday and NZ Post tracking is still saying "Pending border clearance" Does that align with others experience or should I be getting it looked into and who would I contact?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

I've had parcels from AliExpress stuck in "border clearance" for up to three weeks...

This most commonly happens if/when the sender hasn't properly filled out the paperwork, in my experience. But given it's almost christmas, I would not be surprised if it's the volume of packages that's causing a delay.

For now, all you can do is wait indeed, nothing you can or should do.
