Anyone got experience of, or advice on, getting an unpackaged item picked up and delivered to you? Someone suggested Pack & Send offer such a service and I'm interested in hearing if anyone here has tried them out, or has used someone else doing this. Item I'm looking to shift is between Auckland and Napier, it's only small but the other end doesn't want the hassle of wrapping it up and organising a courier, etc.

Which suburb in Auckland is pick-up?

Pack and Send will do it, and a good job of it, but also charge well for it :)

Another +1 for Pack and Send, they're great for getting TM items, pickup-only from Flag Swamp, to your front door.

Another +1 for Pack and Send. Have had experience with them a few times as sender of large furniture items sold on TM - some where I was the arranger, other times when someone else arranged pickup from here. Found them great to deal with.

You could try posting the job on sites such as Flash Move or Movingle. Not sure how many offers you'd get for a single item, but someone who is already transporting other goods between Auckland to Nelson may be willing to do this for a small fee.
