Can anyone confirm if they are having this issue. Am overseas in a bit of a panic when opening the Wise App and no amounts are showing. I can only see the names of the shops visited but not any funds. Embarking on a ship tomorrow and registered the Wise card for payments and now rather concerned.

All is well. Answered my own question. Appears they have changed the home page not to display any amounts. You have to tap on the balance for it to take you to a new page so you can see it. .

Why do that? It was perfectly fine the way it was and gave me a hell of a shock thinking I had maybe been hacked.

a number of apps do this…

Im not sure if its a new thing, but when I first got the app a few months back…it has this feature.

No it only changed since yesterday on my iPad as have been checking it a few times a day. Gave me a shock not seeing any balances. Being away am more on alert to everything. Biggest fear is running out of cash and not being able to access a way to transfer more in.

Now having issues again renewing the roaming package on Skinny. Wise advises of the payment transaction but I can’t activate the package. Need a lot of patience.

Wise app on my iPhone, which appears to be the current version insofar as a newer version is not showing in the App Store, is still showing account totals on first screen after I open the app.

Wonder if the app has detected you're away from home and has stepped up security a bit?

In the App on my phone, there is a toggle in the top right corner (next to the 'Earn A$145' note) - looks like an open eye - tapping that hides the numbers (Asterisks instead of numbers).

Touch the 'closed eye' icon at the top right of the screen in the app. This toggles the show/hide balances/transaction values.

My issue with the balances in my Wise app is that there's been no mysterious benefactor depositing large sums anonymously into my account for my pleasure.

Current balance = $3.12 NZD.

Sad face.
