Seeing there are a few coffee drinkers and the like that are Wellington based, I was wondering on peoples choice of cake in cafes in the city. I quite like the Lido, Midnight or Espressoholic but wonder if anyone had some other good sources of cake?

Thanks

Pandoro Panetteria on Woodward Street is nice for a slice of gateaux.

The Bakery call Bordeaux (or something like that) on the corner of Featherston & Johnson Street is great, has the nicest chocolate eclairs in the world. Granted, I don't recall seeing too much cake .. my eyes are only on the eclairs and canape's ...Tongue out But definately recommend it.

Shouldn't that be torta or pasticcino or something?  A panetteria is italian...
