I remember John Key talking about this on David Letterman in 2010, but must confess I've never actually tried it myself.

The first one in Aotearoa will be at Westfield in Newmarket. Is it good? Has anyone tried it and can comment?

It seems Krispy Kreme is doing quite well here - I wonder if this place will have a similar success?

I love Cinnabon, usually get one when I visit the US.

I don’t know if I am mis-remembering but I’m swear there used to be a Cinnabon in the Glenfield Mall around 2000/2001.

Haha okay wasn’t just me but sounds like it wasn’t Cinnabon;

Have spent a lot of time in the States but never tried these.

The only way they are familiar to me is due to the fact that Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill, the shonky lawyer from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, worked in a Cinnabon shop in a mall - under an assumed name - after he had to stop lawyering and was trying to avoid his past catching up with him.

If success is increasing obesity and type-2 diabetes then... probably!

Expect them to cost about $10 each (they cost $8.50 AUD in Australia).

You can get the same effect by mixing up sugar, cinnamon, and lard, and then eating a few tablespoons of it, no need to pay $10 for it.

I confess to ingesting a few of these delights in Hawaii last year, and then a month or so ago I found a Cinnabon in Sydney across the road from Paddy's Markets so of course I had to get one. So bad but oh so good!

A couple of months ago I heard a rumour that Raising Cains is coming to NZ but I understand that turns out to be a hoax. Gutted - I was looking forward to Texas Toast 😭

Expansion into NZ

This YouTube clip is the first time in Better Call Saul that Gene Takavic (aka Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill) appears in the Cinnabon store he manages in a mall in Omaha, Nebraska.
