Thanks to Facebook, this memory appeared...

 

At the start of the COVID outbreak, I was between PC's, so when we were pushed into lockdown, I found myself without a decent PC. Out came the spare parts box....

 

No photo description available.

 

G3258, 8GB, HD6970 2GB (10 years old!), 240GB Intel SSD. What you cant see, is the small desk fan used as extra cooling when needed, and the screwdriver used as the power switch.

 

Ah good times..... ;)

 

 

 

Anyone ended up in similar situation at the time ? :)

Needs must ! Imagine being between broadband suppliers when the lock came down! Ouch.

 

I didn't waste my time on the PC, I used the time to bake sourdough and finally learn Japanese. Or is that just what I wanted to do? Can't remember.
