Anyone having any issues with the SMEG skillet that was part of New Worlds recent promotion?

I have only used it a couple of times but despite using lots of oil I find food catches quite easily. Tried to make a pan fritatta this evening and while it worked, I have just spent 20 minutes cleaning the pan and will have to revisit it again tomorrow.

is it really fit for purpose?
