I just went to find the latest contact number and address of an acquaintance in Australia, using Whitepages.com.au, and found that it doesn't exist anymore except for commercial businesses.

As of November 1, 2025, the White Pages no longer provides search options for residential telephone numbers.

In other news, a lot of people don't have residential phones either !

I don't think my kids have ever seen a phone book.

I just ran my family name through the NZ white pages website.  It's junk.   A lot of outdated information.  Incorrect listing for relatives that no longer have a landline, or have moved or have passed way.  There is even one for an address my ex-wife hasn't lived in for a decade years.
