Does anyone own a smart electric kettle that works in NZ with Alexa? There seems to be some dispute as to if they work with alexa skills? I also have Smartlifeon my phone that links to alexa and seems to work for other devices like lights and switches. Just dont want to buy a $120-200 paperweight!

All Heart Store Manukau - MA Smart Kettle

Tuya based - I had one when it came direct from Mighty Ape.

You can start it, will tell you when it's finished, and set and hold a temprature.

Doesn't know how much water is in the jug.

Be aware that there is a thermal cut out on the mightape one that will trigger if you empty it just after its boiled, it will then appear dead for a while till that cools back down.

Seems that the heat-soaked element area transfers the heat out after its been used.
