Hi,

I'm trying to submit an IR3 tax return for 2008 - 2009 as quickly as possible. However after a month of calling and emailing, I still don't have a paper copy to submit nor is it on their website to file electronically. Has anyone got their hands on an IR3 for the last tax year yet? Am I just in an IRD black hole?

The forms are available online. Here is the 2009 IR3:
http://www.ird.govt.nz/forms-guides/keyword/returns/current/ir003-form-individualreturn-2009.html

Note that it isn't due until July 7, which is probably why there isn't an online submission yet.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go. Sadly the IR3G for 2008 - 2009 is not there. Best try go for the 2007 - 2008 guide!

Go to "Forms and guides (All forms and guides)", scroll down to "Returns". Select "Current returns". At the bottom is the link to the 2009 IR3G.
