I use Microsolar and they work extremely well, you can contact these guys for more info. Let me know if you have any specific questions on them.

Make sure you also consider heat pump hot water cylinders. We have been using a Rheem for a couple of years now and have been very happy with it.

hey mate, i looked at the link and it says they supply "20 Tube, 277 Litre Stainless Steel Tank with heat exchange coil", does that mean i have to throw out my current water tank ??  Or can they just intergrate whatever needs to be in my current water tank ??

Most off the shelf solar hot water systems, will use a specialised tank, so your exisiting one will become surplus.
This is why the jump into solar nationally is slow, it doesn't get anywhere near economic until you need to replace your exisiting cyclinder (or are building from new)

I bought a new tank (there is some solar specialists who make them in Auckland at a good price) as you need to feed the inlet from your solars into you storage tank about half way up the tank. I was going to replace my tank anyway as it was too small for the number of people in the house (teenage girls to be correct)

Have a chat to the guys at Quadrix Energy, they were looking at putting an element into the Micrsolar which would then be your tank as it is 270 litres.
