Find something better and more productive to do with your time in my opinion, however if you must browse a site that often has dodgy content and you're worried about it use a anonymous proxy service.

Is 4chan so important and llife changing that you need to bump a four hour old post?

No, I didn't think so.

I've hung around /b/ a bit, I don't think I've ever seen 'child' porn there, I have however seen photos of teens who may or may not be 18. /b/ is the dark side of society, it's not uncommon for people to post personal details of people they dislike in the expectation of them being harassed, especially religious people and pedophiles they have baited.

With those exceptions, it's pretty harmless.  Just don't download stuff whose links are posted on /b/.

Is geekzone so important and life changing you need to post pointless comments in a thread that have nothing to do with the question asked?

lol at this thread

/b/ is mostly harmless nonsense but now and then there is some pretty twisted stuff on there. There are much better ways to spend your time online however
