Just wondering what you think the future of storage media will look like.

Do you think in the next decade DVD drives and even Blu-ray drives would become obsolete?

With so much software being able to be downloaded legally these days, do you think there will be no place for optical drives in the future?

Hard to call that. My pick would be that as a backup medium they will all but disappear however whether it is the "internet" that replaces them or something else I would not like to pick.

Just thinking about DVDs - I hardly ever use them to back-up my files. It is so much quicker and cheaper to do so through an external hard drive.
