Easy very off topic question.

I have worked out that i can buy a new computer (a very nice one) for the same money it would take to get a Motorbike.
i am passionate about both things but cant decide :(

What should i do?

Do i work on my Lan Tan or do i ride in to the sun set with the wind caressing my long flowing hair?

My Opinion not anybody elses.

  • Why do you want a new computer?

  • What will you use it for?

  • What will it achieve over what you have now?

  • What are the implications for you of not getting it?

  • Why do you want a new motorbike?

  • What will you use it for?

Well i had a very pretty honda vtr250 as i was a filthy learner. and i let my mate have a go on it and he thought it would be funny to smash it in to a lowered rx7 that was parked down the road from me. luckily he was flung clear in to some flax bushes with just a broken leg. but as for the bike it was then permantly part of that rotary from then on. the guy that owned the car was pretty good about it as he was going to get a good insurance pay out. i liked that bike and would like something similar. sorry a bit long winded but quite funny now.

  • Why do you want a new computer? Because my one currently is old and crap, i cant keep up with the boys at the monthly lan party. playing crysis and what not.

  • What will you use it for? gaming and genrally being a social prude.

  • What will it achieve over what you have now? i will get powerful mana from all my comp buddies

  • What are the implications for you of not getting it? i get behind the times, my friends shame me with their large hard drives.

  • Why do you want a new motorbike? to get from A to B and i dont have a car (twas stolen)

  • What will you use it for? picking up chicks and riding like to work.

  • What will it achieve over what you have now? i will not have to take the bus and i will get wet when it rains.

  • What are the implications for you of not getting it? i will be dry in the bus next to the drunk guy who is vomiting on my pants, i wont get any sweet ladies as i'll be inside playing computer.

A bike will keep its value a lot longer than a computer will. Plus, it wont be obsolete by next year.

I bought my first bike last year...... Buy the bike.

You won't regret it. My commute has gone from 30-40 minutes of tedium waiting then sitting on the bus, and walking. Each way. To 10-12 minutes of fun. I never ever want to ride a bus again.

Thing is, does your computer do you just fine at the moment?

I would love a new computer but for me there is no point as my current one is sufficient. AND I just bought a new car haha
