Trying to get ACDC tickets via Ticketek. Almost impossible to get into and when I do I get through the purchase process and thrown out at the end with a critical error.

Tried Ticketmaster for the Auckland venue and what a breeze. I can do this repetitively as well.

Anyone know why the two companies are so different online?

My buddy was there too, but I had bought our tickets online before the first guy there got served :)

The ticketmaster system is very good even early on, with the most demand, because they put you in a queue rather than overloading. I haven't had to use ticketek in a long time, and I'm pretty glad. Ticketmaster gets a bad rap in the States, but they have a pretty good system here and the charges aren't too outrageous.

Must say I was quite surprised at how fast the Ticketmaster website was loading. Expected it to be bogged down (and was ready to run downhill to Real Groovy) but it turned out better than I thought possible.

(just to crow again... lol) We already had 8 tickets weeks ago - dont queue, and dont pay retail.

On topic, a colleague went on ticketmaster at 9am, and was placed in a web queue till 9.09am at which point she got the two tickets she was after.

Easy.

Not 100% sure, but a friend has a friend in the right place, and we got some pre-general sale tickets.

Had to pay full whack for them, but at least we didn't have to chance it this morning :o)

8 of us heading down to Wellington from Hawkes Bay. We are still considering the option of a limo there and back lol

I know your probably just stating a fact that the ticketmaster website is easily accessable. But be warned ticketmaster reserve the right to cancel multiple bookings where the name, address, and cc details are the same.

cheers

Yes correct, I want to go to Wellington, but thought I would try Auckland and see how far I could go before having to hit buy.
