Hey All

I recently became a subscriber and I can't believe how much faster it is to browse and how great it is not to have all the adverts.
Well worth the $$$ spent.

Advertising scripts are notorious for blocking execution of the page and slowing down the entire page load.

I have to say sometimes I have to use it with the Ads option off so I can see what ads we have...

I know some people are not bothered by ads - I am not, unless they are popups, popunders and things with screaming noises.

If I visit a site with these kinds of ads I simply don't go back. But reality is that everyone on the Internet needs to pay for their bills. We try to block anything that would annoy me personally - so you can be sure there won't be any ads with this kind of content, or other bad stuff...

Its a great site so I'm happy to view a few ads if it helps you keep it going.

Sorry, I should have also mentioned that I wanted to support the Geekzone community too, I do seem to spend a lot of time on here and it's helped me out in a lot of ways. It wasn't just for getting rid of the ads.

Sweet as bro!

Also turning off the sidebar makes the forums load extrememly fast. Here on an Xtra ADSL connection, over WiFi I can load a forum page well within 1 second.

I work in advertising so I'm immune to ads! They barely get a glance from me I can safely say I've never clicked one.
