Yes, I'm brand here.  Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't find another section that really worked.  Anyway, I've been working on a project in school where I've had to find out about the history of cell phones.  One of the topics I've had a hard time finding information about is ringtones.  I'm not entirely sure who first developed them and how they work.  Do any of you have any information that might be helpful?  If you do, sharing it would be appreciated.  thanks!
