Anyone know what sort of device is answering this number ? 06 356 1421
Its an odd tone.... its def not modem. Its appearing on one of our office phone bills and noone can tell us what it is - we cant even find any device in the building that dials out apart form the fax and its not that. (Or at least not in its logs)

It sounds like a number for alarm monitoring. We have a lot of alarm panels here at my work which dial a monitoring company. I looked up one of the numbers they dial and called it and it made the same noise. :)

Hmm suspected it might be... the alarm company is pleading ignorance though.... wonder if theres an old alarm system still present in the building before we took over...

Thanks :)
