How funny was it, that Dr William Bell was played by Leonard Nimoy (Spock from Star Trek).

Hopefully TVNZ will show series 2!

You will find out that every Fringe episode has a clue for the next one. On the first to last episode Bishop makes the vulcan greeting sign at the end of the episode...

That was when visiting Grayson, the guy who claims to have uncovered government conspiracies.

- To create supersoldiers!
- Supersoldiers?
- Yes, like Khan, to defend us in a coming war!
- What war?
- I'm sorry, the Khan? As in "The wrath..."?
- Yes.
- Let me guess. This war is against...?
- The Romulans. Renegade Romulans, from the future. Here to change the timeline. The sworn enemy of the Federation.
- The Federation? That would be the United Federation of Planets?
- Yes.
- Hmmm. And you know this because?
- I am the son of Sarek.
- Which makes you Spock?
- Yes.
- (making the sign) Well Mr Spock, thank you for your time. We will let you get back to the bridge now.
- Live long and prosper!

Apparently there is an alphabet link behind the Glyphs that you see each ad break - http://fringepedia.net/wiki/Glyphs_code -and- http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_YPCf8JFgUdI/SdtycQ72OwI/AAAAAAAALAg/PeBe4Vobn_o/s1600-h/GlyphCodeKey.jpg

They have other hidden things in them as well. i.e. The freemason's "eye of providence" in the leaf, the insect wing in the flower.... etc

All pretty interesting.

Thumbs up to TVNZ for showing double episodes. Far more satisfying that way. Hopefully it wasn't done in order to ditch the show as quickly as possible.

I suspect your correct but I see that the DVDs were on sale next day so maybe there was pressure  from the DVD suppliers as well  for TVNZ to end it fast.  I saw series 1 DVDs at the Melbourne airport a few weeks ago. Nearly bought it..

Fringe Series 2  is up to ep 5 last this week in the US..

You all missed one of the bigger parts of the series.. Scary bald man!

(in saying that, I missed the final.. waiting for tuesdays replay)

Go back each ep and play wheres wally with him. He's there in nearly all of them ;)

Passenger at the airport when going to see the dude in the German prison springs to mind.

Bald man? Are you referring to the Observer? He is in all episodes - sometimes just a second, crossing the screen, or behind someone on the street.

On one of the recent episodes Walter is holding/drinking a Slusho (the mysteriously famous JJ Abram's drink - also one of the working titles of Cloverfield).
It was on the episode where they were on the sidewalk (sorry footpath) looking at the burnt body/bodies.

Slusho has made a few other appearances on the show as well but I can't remember where.

PS: Can't wait for the Cloverfield sequel!

I'm looking forward to series 2 - no doubt it'll be on some bizarre time-slot in the middle of next winter.

As summer is nearly here, I'd imagine Lost is probably on its way back to Wednesdays?
