If you don't already know, U2 are streaming their concert live on YouTube this afternoon at 4:30PM - NZ is one of the countries listed as being able to watch it:

The youtube app built into the PS3 won't bring it up (its prob not designed to recognise a live broadcast)
am getting a 500k bitrate but does look fairly compressed

1000kbps = 60000kbpm = 60Mbpm = 7.5 Megabytes per minute.  How long was the show, 2.5 hours?  Then, about a gig of data!

It was streamed off local Akamai servers, so everyone should have gotten pretty good performance.

Awsome show U2, as usual :)

It should be, it's the same show they play every night!  ;)  Seriously, that is a ridiculous (ly awesome?) stage.
