So I just signed up for sms alerts for my drive to and from work to advise me of traffic incidents along the route I commute. The AA website says it is free for telecom mobiles until the end of the year.
It cost me a text for the confirmation message I recieved on my XT phone after I signed up.

My question is: Have I just misread the website (ie, it is free to subscribe, but it costs to send me each message), or have I been charged for something I shouldn't have.

Nick

I would try and contact @AA_Traffic on Twitter.

I'm told that it's free & they have issues...
