Saw them in '96 in ChCh... front row for a cool $59.50... how times have changed!

Its like that whenever old bands that with bands from the 70's. Their demograph from those times have grown up now and have a lot of coin!

I guess that's part of it, also the cost of all the stage gear and the associated costs of moving/setting it up must be huuuuuuuuuuuuge too... like, the only way a band like Iron Maiden could bring their stage show to NZ is to have their own plane - the associated costs of getting all that stuff set up here would probably mean running at a loss.
