Hi Peoples,

Was just having a talk with a friend of mine about the whole Geek Sheik fad going on at the moment (thanks to shows like Big Bang Theory) and was wondering if people think its a good thing or a bad thing.

On one hand, is it causing geeks to become more socially acceptable? Or do you think that it's forcing people with intelligence to be stereotyped and expected to act in a certain way?

I'm proud to be a geek, and have been for many many years, but all of a sudden people that know me as a geek seem to know a lot more about how geeks think than what they used to.
