I'm on a promise to buy one of these 3D leather landscape paintings. Some people have strange tastes, but ahh well, I digress.

The can be quite large - up to about 1 meter wide, usually of a cottage scene, with a 3D feature consisting of a boat, or windmill, brook, etc,  and have some little electric pump circulating water thru the feature. And have a LED light as well.

It's not one of those ceramic mini-scenes, but made of stretched leather and painted.

There was a seller in the New Lynn mall (Auckland) a few weeks ago selling these, but now that I have gathered the courage to be seen buying one of these in public, he's no longer there.

Just wondering if he has popped up somewhere else in an Auckland shopping mall ? Spreading his business around ?

If not, xmas shopping plan B.
