1-Day are running a 7-Day Crapathon with Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 Slim, and iPods featured (at least one of them each day).
See marketing here: http://www.1-day.co.nz/docs/email/2009/12December/29/crapathon291209_nz.html

Did anyone get one, or even see one of these deals yet?

No. I've looked quite a lot. Never seen anything good. A LOT of repeat junk also.

It wouldn't be hard to miss something that appears for less than a minute though...

From the looks of their Facebook comments there has been something each day, was a Wii recently, says "today at 1:01pm" so am guessing that is GMT which makes it midnight ??

No, it tries to (and always gets it wrong) get your timezone from your settings. It's actually telling me that some of the events have happened up to 12 hours in the future. Facebook (the site) is just moronic.

Just saw a 120GB PS3 Slim go for $500. Not exactly an awesome deal but still better than nothing.

Can't believe I missed it.  My wife came home for lunch so I stepped out of the office to make a sandwich for her...

I'll tell her she cost me a cheap PS3, see if she'll chip in for the difference Foot in mouth

So basically, if you sit at the computer and keep refreshing the page, you'll have a chance to get a good deal
on an ipod, Wii or PS3?

LOL yes, but if you convert time wasted into $$$ then it's not really worth the worry!

did it come with a game? If not then $500 for a PS3 slim is a pretty crappy deal. you can get the PS3 with a $100 game for under $600 in most places. I got mine for $598 with a game, remote control, and $180 of vouchers from Noel Leeming.

Correct. It's JUST the PS3. No extra controllers, games, vouchers, and not including shipping.
