I am just about to order some tickets for the AC DC concert for me and my other half. I waited all this time so I can check the weather forecast before ordering from TicketMaster.

What do you think is the best place to watch the concert from for Western Springs, Auckland?

- Terrace area - Standing
- Hill area - Standing
- Field area - Standing

Last time I watched a band, I stood on the field - but I am thinking of the Hill this time.

The hill sucks, IMO. It's too steep and depending on how many people they get up there it can be a bit crowded. There were a lot of complaints about The Police and Rolling Stones from people on the hill. Having said that, at least you get an unrestricted view across to the stage.

I think you'll find that the field and the terraces are sold out though, so you may not have a choice.  Unless you're in the fanclub?  There may still be tickets for them, not sure.

driving around the track at full speed in a Sprintcar would be my ideal way of seeing ACDC at Westerns Springs but I dont think thats ever going to happen :)

Anyone know where a good place to park near western springs for the concert will be?

I read somewhere recently there will be restrictions on surrounding streets.

I wonder if we should just get a taxi, might be less hassle.

I do, but I can't tell you because then it might not be there when we go to park there! :)

Actually how far are you keen to walk? We once parked over the other side of the motorway. Plenty of parking there and it's only a couple of km walk?

That's right. Not as far as the mall though. There's quite a few streets nearish the motorway. Pretty sure there's even a bridge to use to cross it ;)
