Folks,

I'd appreciate any suggestions for a name to a new IT company.

Its going to deal with small - medium businesses, and yes I already have they clients - just need to setup a new company with a cool name so it is official, rather than the contract work I currently do.

cheers,
AS

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

What does your company specialise in? What do you want the company name to resemble or symbolise?

Is it a trading name, or will you be using this as the name you will register your company with?

@RS : I'd like to register the "name" as the company name with the companies office...e.g. The IT Company Ltd.

@Shaun : The idea is to represent something dynamic, and reliable. It is going to mainly deal with network / server management for small - medium businesses, and also solutions e.g. CRM / VOIP.

haha i love the puns, along the lines of" schindlers lifts", they really do stick in the mind

you could also have "PC plod", with a picture of a computer with a old style police helmet on its cartoonish head

or just plain descriptive like "webserve"

this is where a signature goes

The moment I saw that, I actually thought of New Era IT (already a company), so maybe not that one.

@Regs: I like IT!
@Arrona : Ditto
@Rvangelder : mmmeh... :)
@Kiwirtc : Genuit is pretty cool...
@NPM : Keeping IT real sounds good...but IMHO, sounds a bit "slangy" - hard to explain what I mean there...

but that's awesome feedback..and I'm still thinking!
