I'm having issues with my pdf reader; adobe reader v9.3.1.

My error messages go like:
Error opening document <file path\filename>.pdf: Error: [PDF Structure 40]: Invalid property type

I attempted to update the adobe software, but this has not reolved anything.

I also installed PDF-XChange viewer to see if this would help, but no.  Very weird and I do recall a similar problem on the last PC (XP); current PC is Win7 64-bit.

Its not all documents either, and if I get real stuck I download/ print from my PC at work...

Any ideas?

Cheers, Stevo

Another vote for Foxit. Uninstall Adobe's PDF reader fully first IMO

I used to like Foxit but they have added quite a lot of bloat, toolbars and other crap too it recently.

My new favourite no BS pdf reader is currently Sumatra PDF

Thanks everyone. I take it I need to unistall adobe first? I attempted to install foxit late last night, I get a splash image but it didn't install...

I'll give Sumatra a go too. Thanks for the responses.
