Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any businesses who are wanting to get rid of any wooden shipping pallets for free in the Hamilton area?

If they are in reasonable condition then I have a use for them at home now.

Thanks :)

I'ev always wondered what cuold be done with pallets to earn some cash. One guy I know made his own shutters for his windows from them.

Seems like such a waste that they just get dumped, or burned...

I know right?  I don't want to make any money from them though, I am wanting to put flooring in under the house and garden shed.

I will give Farmlands a call and see what they can do for me (unless someone else on here is getting them from there - I don't want to invade!)

I know of a guy that makes compost bin kits and raised vege garden kits out of them.

Chep branded pallets are most common one's used everywhere (blue color). Doubted if anyone would give those away for free since they each cost $35 and are usually given back when a new shipment/delivery arrives at someone's store.

I have a non-chep sitting at my work. You'd need a van though (I think) to take it away. PM me if you need it. Work is in flagstaff.

Yeah, I wouldn't ask for the Chep branded ones, I know they go back and get reused.  I am more after the one-way pallets that come into the country.

What are the measurements of it?  Would you think it would fit in a stationwagon?

take a look yourself. it's the one on the left. as you can see the chep pallet (blue) is smaller in size and much lighter compared to this one.
