I just wanted to know if ANYONE here has heard, seen or read about Susan Boyle coming to NZ in late August. I was told about it a few moments ago from a friend.

IF you HAVE heard about it, please let me know where you found out?

THANKS

(NOTE: serious replies only)

It could have been worse. He could have asked about Justin Bieber.

August and September and maybe Kiri as the support act

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Bit sad when the mainstream media use a poorly written blog site as their source for 'news' - http://journalism-news-source.blogspot.com/2010/06/susan-boyle-to-visit-nz_05.html

TVNZ article is still up, but Stuff has withdrawn the article from their website.

I also note that the quotes (and half of the comments) from the initial report are copied verbatim from an unrelated article on the TVNZ website (http://tvnz.co.nz/entertainment-news/public-backs-susan-boyle-over-dame-kiri-3557858).

They've just posted another site (http://susan-boyle-media.blogspot.com/) - wonder if TVNZ news will continue to run with the ball or work out that it's a load of crap? Not sure what sort of scam they are trying to pull... at best it's some sort of media studies project, at worst it's a deliberate attempt to mislead the public for financial gain.

Curiouser and curiouser...
