Does anybody know where in new zealand I can buy a 2.5 ide to 2.5 sata converter for laptop?
I see they sell them on ebay ,would like to see how much they are in new zealand.

Can you show me a link to one on ebay, unsure how you could do that, pretty tight squeeze in most laptops.

Indeed, and would be a bit of an odd thing to do.
Do you want to adapt a 2.5 inch IDE drive to use a SATA connection, or the other way around?
Either way, just buy a new drive! They are pretty cheap these days.

Never seen one, you would be very lucky to fit that in most laptops.

for that price (NZ$60) i would have thought you'd be better spending another $35 or so and buying a brand new IDE drive...
