Is itunes the only service that allows you to rent movies online?

Are there any other services for renting or buying movies for download online?

Thanks :)

What platforms do you have? I believe that Zune (on Xbox 360) also offers rentals.

Fairly limited in NZ. iTunes would have the biggest collection for the NZ market at present, I believe.

Zune marketplace on Xbox 360 lets you rent/buy movies in NZ. Will be launching for PC's outside USA in October.

Cool, i'll look out for Zune.

In the meantime, itunes is great! Don't have to leave my house to rent dvd's

you can buy tivo online now too - the 'exclusive' telecom deal has ended i believe

check out www.tivo.co.nz

"Telecom Broadband customers will continue to enjoy unmetered CASPA downloads, but if you are with a different ISP, please be sure to consult them for details on your monthly download quota and review our guide to downloads"

biggest issue with online renting is our broadband caps. Once they go, I will be in boots and all...

Looked at the Tivo selection yesterday, its a pretty pathetic selection of movies and tv shows.

i use my apple tv and itunes on a regular basis. its actually really good, lots and lots of movies and rentals aren't bad.

you maybe able to get them cheaper at a video store on "cheap tuesdays" or something, but its more convenient with itunes, i rathat pay a few dollars more and use itunes.

i have 100gb a month, 1.8gb doesnt really bother me. i would have to rent 60ish movies a month to go over that.

Well that's nice and dandy for you but 99.7% of home internet users in NZ don't have 100gb of data per month :)
