I just lost out on a kindle 2 on trademe - I can't believe it went for $290, especially with this being a kindle 2, now replaced by Kindle 3 in the US and most other countries.

And the price of basic kindle 3 - $139 US

If you can set up a good trade deal with a US supplier there is some serious money to be made right now by selling these types of products on trademe.

Why wouldn't you just buy the kindle 3 from amazon?

Kindle 2 has a larger screen. Some people might want that.

I finally have fibre!  Had to leave the country to get it though.

Aren't they both 6inch screens?

Er, by Kindle 2 I meant the Kindle DX (9.7" screen). You mean that's not the model you referred to?

I finally have fibre!  Had to leave the country to get it though.
