I'm looking for a place in/near CBD where I could drop in to work or have a meeting etc. (the casual daily plan at AltSpace basically describes my needs - http://www.altspace.co.nz/)
It's kind of hard to hunt for a quiet coffee shop for meetings that require lots of discussion and sometimes illustrations.
Are you still looking for good co-working space in central Auckland? Do you know of other people also looking for such?
We have been looking for people to set up a group just of Symonds St that is aimed at creating an environment of shared work and ideals.
We have a space which can fit about 25-30 people and have been looking for people for the last few weeks. So far got about 7 people with genuine interest.
What we have is at the top end of Symonds St, about 200ish metres from the nearest Cafe's, Sushi, Dairy's etc. We are currently looking for people to join us in this office.
What sort of work are you into? What are your interests?
We just really want to create the most awesome environment for people interested in startup, entrepreneurship and business in general.
We are also looking at doing the things like the startup weekends, Jelly's, and much of the stuff which is mentioned in http://www.nwcny.com/ this link.
I'm a software developer, focusing mostly in the XRM space, currently building a bespoke CRM solutions for the talent management space, and will most likely productize it soon. I'm mostly platform neutral in terms of technology, but I do spend an awful lot of time on Microsoft's stuff :)
Bizdojo is good and interesting, we have been talking with them. Also the building they are in is awesome.
PM me and we could meet up and actually discuss what your interested in etc.
Also aiming for Friday the 1st of October, we are just speaking to people to have a start up networking/ pitching night. Basically $10 (to cover some beers and food) and we hoping for about 30+ people who are interested in (and preferable have already started) startups. Also anyone you know who might be interested can PM me too.
