Jeeper's creepers I'm still shaking after that! Power/net is down, house is wrecked, broken glass everywhere, it even broke my BA but left the misses BSC alone, Grr.

More after shocks happening!

Yep - felt strong in Dunedin but nothing fell off walls. When they come you just have to wait until they decide to stop....

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, it was a very sarcastic/picky earthquake! Located in Fendalton, Christchurch, all ok.

Have heard from friends that live in Peagus, their roads are ripped up, houses cracked etc. Other friends have lost TV's and glassware etc. Parts of Chch have power, southwest mainly, northwest and northeast are out.

NOOOO I have a rental property in Pegasus ...

Just spoke with my parents in Kaiapoi just north of Christchurch and they have cracked roads outside and sewage running downing the road,

My Sister is also reporting downed power poles , cracked roads and the Front of a Harcourt's building in the main drag collapsed into the street and just a lot of smashed glass in buildings.

I just heard of it and it scared the willies out of me and I'm not even there... :/ I hope you're all alright... BBC reported that there's a risk of a tsunami as well... :(

edit: can anyone from the region keep us posted in any way if possible... the bloody BBC is not very informative and it usually takes 3news a whole century to update the news page...

I was right beside the city centre, buildings knocked down, alarms going off, and I am flippin' sick of the aftershocks, tethered to my phone via 2? since Vodafone's going dodgy.

Good thing though, no damage at work apart from my computer screen shooting to the other side of the desk and my computer was toppled over, servers all good though, thank god!
