I'm after something so simple, yet so hard to find.

I currently have my 23 inch LCD monitor sitting on top of 3 phone books - this doesn't give my PC the trendy tidy look I'm after.

All I need is a plastic monitor stand.... about 2 to 3 phone books high!

Does anyone know where I can get one from? Nothing on trademe or varies store websites.

Not sure where to get one but what about a monitor arm?

Like http://www.allproducts.com/manufacture100/fogim/product2.jpg except black and nicer. I can put you in touch with a business that sells them for about $120.

I got the dual monitor version and I'm loving it. It doesn't just raise the monitors to my height (im tall) it also frees up my desk (there is space under the monitor!).

Thanks but i'm really after just a plain monitor stand (about 2 to 3 phone books in size. Used to have one at my old job, it would have been perfect.

Similar to this but more modern looking and without the IBM on it:

DIY job... cool! Nothing wrong with my phone book workaround job but it doesn't look too good..

On the bright side, at least i'm putting the phone books to actual use for a change.
