Gidday all,

I need your help! I'm a little late sending my brother his Birthday Present which is causing me headaches in more ways than one. Firstly, he's travelling so it needs to be small and portable. Secondly, he's currently in Germany but leaving soon (2 weeks) for Japan so it needs to ship quickly, thirdly what on earth to send him! He's a PHD Maths Student *technically* studying in Britain (not that he seems to spend much time there) so I was trying to come up with a techy gadget that is a bit geeky. While browsing around I came across LED Binary Clocks and thought one of those would be perfect! Heres the tricky part.

There seems to only be one or two types which are mainly sold in the US and carry a US plug and voltage. I've managed to find versions of these in NZ (at 3 times the price with a NZ/Aus plug) and Germany (perfect, except he's leaving there soon, it carry's a Euro plug and its $$$). I'm more interested in a purely battery operated model. While the above one's all have battery backups, I haven't found a site yet that will ship to Germany due to the plug/voltage issue.

I'm happy to buy it locally (Chch) and ship it by priority air mail.

If not, any other suggestions for a gift along the same lines that I can order online and get sent to Germany? Anything on Amazon etc would be awesome as they do gift wrapping
