Hi, over the last couple of days we have had several phone calls that initially seems no one is there, then after awhile a synthesized (american accent) type voice (but obviously a real person) asks if we are "Name as listed in White pages" then goes on to say they are from some organisation (I did not catch) then states that our computers have logged a virus alert with them, and could I please go to my computer and give them some details to help fix the problem.

Naturally I saw immediate red, said "F&CK OFF" and put the phone down.

Anyone else had such calls.

Cyril

Yep thanks Steve, that sounds exactly what it was, the kids took the first two calls and went looking for me, by the time they found me the caller had hung up, third time it was me, should have taken the opportunity and strung him along abit, but something triggered and he qot a quick flick.

Cheers
Cyril
