Mercury Energy are selling the Onzo energy monitor.  $99 + $29 installation. The wireless sensor (433MHz) is inductively powered, might save a few batteries. Mercury Energy customers only in theory. Software for PC and MAC. The display recharges via USB, and an adaptor is supplied.

Looks like they plan to charge $2.50 per month for access to the web tools eventually.

Maybe there is potential to upload the data to a different provider.

Just having a look, but unlike the Current Cost EnviR (my review) it doesn't seem to be IP enabled and requires manual downloads/uploads?
