Hi everyone,

I'm new here but i would really appreciate some advice.

I have recently purchased the nokia e71 cell phone off Trade Me and i would like to use it on the Telecom XT network. However, telecom tells me that because it runs on a different frequency, i wont get much coverage at all!

But i am a little confused as some of the managers at work have this same phone and they are on the Telecom XT network as they got these phones through work about a year ago. I know that this is usually a Vodafone phone so how can this be?

So basically, have a i made a huge mistake by purchasing a really expensive phone that can't work on Telecom XT?
