As posted in the Geekzone Freeview Pizza 2011 discussion, Giapo will be present in our Auckland event at Degree Bar, and has offered to create a unique "Geek" flavour.

Please post your suggestions here (even if you are not attending the event) and we will work with Giapo to have this done for our event!

Make sure you visit Giapo's Facebook page and follow Giapo on Twitter.

Maybe mix in some Dorito.

-Ham and pineapple; or
-Sweet corn

They are two flavours I'm convinced can work...

Coffee is something I support. And perhaps some chocolate cookie while at it?

A milky coffee, with a touch of chocolate. Well I guess a cappuccino would fit the bill. Only as I imagine a pure espresso based ice cream might not taste very good.

It would have to have some sort of Florescent glow.....
And be easily described by a simple two letter and single digit name.... get that bit right and a quorum of geeks won't care what it tastes like :)

Maybe a hint of burnt silicon or that "warm" computer smell (face masks to be provided but then you can't eat the gelato!)

Is 'sweaty' really a flavour one would want as a gelato ? ;P

Something along the lines of red bull / V . Or a savoury pizza flavour maybe ?

Chocolate - hint of alcohol and coffee
Hard to go wrong with that....

From @nate :

Considering banning @DemiseNZ from #geekzone for his suggestion of turkish delight for a @giapo flavour.

Nate would prefer KFC flavoured ;-)

Flavour suggestions
Lemon - Most geeks have bought one, surely?
Coffee - Can't geek without it.
Beer - Also part of the staple diet?
BBQ - Goes with beer while you're relaxing and keeping up with twitter.

Combine at varying ratios until it tastes right or just one after the other until full. *burp* 'scuse me

I'd be keen on an energy drink flavoured one. Especially one that makes your mouth pucker up - good and sour.

Coffee, not so much - try those Mammoth milk drinks for a coffee hit - best coffee milk drink I have tasted.
