Hi guys,

I know many of you are experts in the field of scooters and motorbikes in general so I would like your expertise!

What do you guys think of the Kymco RS Agility 125 (125cc)? I don't need a motorbike, as I need to bypass traffic and get to work and park for free.

I also need to travel around 4km on the motorway, which involves the harbour bridge. Do you guys think a 125cc would be fast enough to climb?:)

Any other tips would be great. So far the Kymco is priced at $3099 at the bike shop in the city. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

wow you are very brave or stupid to go over the harbour bridge on that small a bike and i think its only legal if your bike can do 80kmh which is the minimum speed your bike or any vehicle has to do to go on the motorways .

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I wonder if a 125cc can do 80km/hr without any wind assistance? Haha.

If you want something like that, perhaps check out the fxr150's, will get over 100k, and will likely have better manoeuvrability, and will have no trouble getting through traffic. Issue with scooters is the small wheels are a little dangerous. But if you're keen then go for it, and I'd say the 125 should push 80 ok.

Gives me more confidence of the new model being able to at least do 80km/hr easily on the motorway.

A 125cc motorbike will easily get you to 100kmh, unless you're a *cough* very large person. I had a little Honda CB125 about 26 years ago and had no problem getting to this speed...until one day when the cylinder head cracked :-)

Yeah, 100km/hr shouldn't be an issue with a 125cc. The only concern is the Habour Bridge for me - specifically the wind gusts. Anyone attempted this?

Smallest bike was a 250, wasn't too concerning in my experience though. Probably more at risk from the cars that can't see you

I guess I should take the plunge and go for it. At the end of the day, the more I ride it, the more it will save me, time and money!
