Air NZ now offer just 2 fare types: smart saver (no changes allowed), and flexi (totally flexible)
Due to some stupid price setting by Air NZ, the flexi pricing is sometimes cheaper than smart saver.
This relates to child prices, where a smart save child fares cost a lot more than the 'flexi fare' (smart saver=$220, flexi price = $168).
How stupid is that?
Reminds me of air ticket pricing in europe, where a return flight was often cheaper than a one way ticket - this mean I often travelled on return tickets but just did not take the return flight.
