Hello there,

IANAL so some help would do - What are the restrictions on putting logos of other organisations on my website? Do you need permission and can you get sued?

Basically we have a website being setup that will display some of our sources, but will display their logos.

Thanks,
Steven.

IANAL but all logos containing an artistic or design elements are automatically protected by copyright.

This means you can use them to support reporting or your thoughts, but can not use logos in a way that would lead readers to believe your company is endorsed or affiliated to the owner of said logo.

In other words, if you don't have written authorisation to use logos... don't use them.
