Not going to be a movie, just a web series.

Though I guess if the web series is successful it might morph into something else.

edit: direct youtube link to all versions up to 1080p here

Yep my old friend that I have been good friends with since kindergarten (we're early 30s now) has preordered the special edition that comes with the control stick.  It looks mint!

We used to go to the arcade in town and play MK3 when it came out, then Ultimate MK3 etc.  The last few years have been pretty poor for MK, so this looks like a return to form :)  That mate of mine also has an as-new Ultimate MK3 arcade machine in his lounge, so jealous!

The control stick looks awesome! I'm trying to decide whether or not to get it, I've already started playing the demo with the playstation controller and am quite used to it so not sure at this stage.. All comes down to $$$ ;)

And yes that's very cool, sounds like you guys have been good mates for sometime which is good - that brings back memories to when I was very young and used to wait for our fish 'n' chips with Dad at the local shop (back in the days when they used newspaper to rap them.. haha) and I remember playing the original Mortal Kombat on the old arcade machine for 20c a game (I used Sub-Zero!). Ah They were the days! I think you and I were in different time frames then but none the least we both got to experience the original Mortal Kombat game (good times!) I also have to clarify that it is the best fighting game of all time ;) (even though my avatar is a Tekken character..)

Super Jealous of your mates MK3 arcade machine.. Real cool

Regards

Conor a.k.a Sub-Zero
