Not sure if this is the right place, but there were no forum topics related to internet sites.

Something I noticed using google chrome (works OK with IE)...

Just looks a bit ugly.

I don't like the new herald website, those 'popout' headings are plain annoying. Like websites with sound.

I have exactly the same problem, but on Firefox. (Looks OK on Internet Explorer).

Disabling the Firefox ad blocker (adblock plus) did not cure the problem, BUT changing the page zooming back to default did solve the problem.

Check you are not zooming the page (reset page zooming by pressing control + 0)!

Thanks for checking. No extensions are installed.

My LCD is 1900 x 1200 , wonder if that combined with the chrome renderer/ nz herald website are causing some issue.

Anyway, nevermind, was just curious. Thanks

Cool Hey, thanks , all fixed.

I never even knew I was 'zoomed'.

But, it's strange, my LCD is more than wide enough to display this even when zoomed.   I guess, it's just one of those minor bugs that can pop up from time to time.

Talking of news websites. Stuff sometime shas these big coulurful fashing ads on either side of the main page that are such an intrusion to my eyes I switch websites. I've gone off the paper form and now I'm just about done with the gastly visual advertising that in your face.

NZ Herald have annoying popups and is really difficult to navigate. You'd think that have a webpage a little more intelligent
