I don't agree with moderators getting the last word in before locking a thread. Its ok to lock a thread but all you should say is 'the thread does not conform to the GZ forum rules so it is now locked'.

I constantly see moderators expressing their own opinion as the final word before locking the thread which obviously does not give anyone else the opportunity to respond. Poor behaviour.

Now, you see... This is the kind of thread that doesn't need to be locked. Nothing personal in it, unlike the thread about A. Presley's separation.

Please have a go at the moderators today. Auckland has no power, Wellington is cold, people are complaining about too much/too little disclosure from telcos employees in these forums.

Go ahead, make my day!

And remember the weekly chat on Tuesdays, 8pm (although the IRC channel is always open for rants and raves).

Slow news day? Surely not with the Auckland power outage.

So who should get the last say? The original poster?, or the first person to reply?

What makes a moderators opinion any less valuable than someone elses?

I am now locking this thread,,, (just kidding)

What he's saying is instead of just locking the thread and leaving it be some moderators give their opinion and then lock it. Making it seem as though the moderators opinion is final.

Ahhhh shaddup!!

I mean that in the nicest possible way!

Anyone got a spare generator? No power for the heater. I'll need one once I've finished nailing the roof back on and putting the windows back in.
