Here is a link to an ongoing blog thing about this 16yr old gorl who stole this guy's side kick. It has become far bigger than he every thought with over a million hits on the page over the last week. It is getting tinto the news and is spreading like a virus on the net! All because the girl refuses to return the Sidekick ( a mobile phone by the way )!

I started reading it about 5 days ago. Compelling reading.

The importance of it is all somewhat dubious though, so really, i just find it to have entertainment value, which I guess is what accounts for its attention and traffic.

Like selling pixels on a website, this sort of thing is funny and interesting once... it will not be easily replicated should a similar thing happen (or subsequent similar events would be deemed as hoaxes/ripoffs...)

Yeah, interesting to see the side saga with the cops aswell.  It's a pessimistic view, but I guess we're not the only ones who have problems with taxis & cops.  Although not necessarily related. ;p

Jp.
